  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional) Adds freshness, can be omitted.

Preparation

  • Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.

Cooking

  • Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the hot skillet.
  • Add the shredded cheese evenly on top of the bread in the skillet.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese is starting to melt.
  • Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is also golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, let cool for a minute, and slice in half before serving.

Notes
