Ingredients
  

For the Beef Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef or beef strips Use fresh meat for the best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter Melted for cooking.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Sauté until fragrant.
  • 1/4 cup honey Adds sweetness to the sauce.
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika For a smokey flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.

For the Taco Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Creamy base for the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp honey Additional sweetness for the sauce.
  • 1 tbsp BBQ sauce For flavoring the taco sauce.
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika For flavor and color.

For Assembly

  • 6 pieces soft taco tortillas Warmed before assembly.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping.
  • Fresh cilantro (optional) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Melt the unsalted butter over medium heat in a skillet, being careful not to brown it.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Preparing the Taco Sauce

  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, BBQ sauce, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.

Assembling the Tacos

  • Warm the taco tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
  • Place a generous amount of the beef mixture on each tortilla.
  • Drizzle the taco sauce over the beef and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use high-quality beef for best flavor. Customize toppings as preferred. Can substitute with other proteins like chicken or shrimp.
