Preparation

  • Cook the pappardelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente (approximately 7-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute, being careful not to let it brown.

Cooking

  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender and golden brown. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Add the drained pappardelle pasta into the skillet and toss gently to combine, allowing the pasta to soak up the garlic butter sauce.

Serving

  • Serve the dish hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a sprinkle of lemon zest before serving. You can also reserve some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
