Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups butterscotch chips
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 3 cups chow mein noodles Can substitute with rice noodles or corn flakes

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup peanuts Optional for added crunch
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Optional for extra sweetness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine butterscotch and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring until melted.
  • Add chow mein noodles to a large mixing bowl and sprinkle in peanuts if using.

Combining Ingredients

  • Pour melted chips over chow mein noodles and fold gently to coat.
  • If using, fold in mini marshmallows carefully.

Shaping and Cooling

  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet.
  • Allow to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes or refrigerate for quicker cooling.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature, or up to two weeks in the fridge. For freezing, layer between parchment in a freezer-safe container.
