Ingredients
  

Nougat Layer

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips for the nougat layer
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff or marshmallow crème
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk

Caramel Layer

  • 1 bag soft caramels (11 oz / 311 g)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Chocolate Coating

  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips for the chocolate coating
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or coconut oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Melt 2 cups of milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  • Add 1 cup of marshmallow fluff and ¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk to the melted chocolate, stirring until uniform.
  • Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper and pour the nougat mixture in, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Caramel Layer

  • Melt 11 oz of soft caramels with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
  • Pour the melted caramel over the nougat layer and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.

Chocolate Coating

  • Melt the remaining 3 cups of milk chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of vegetable or coconut oil until smooth.
  • Lift the nougat and caramel from the pan, cut into bars, and dip each bar into the melted chocolate coating.
  • Place dipped bars on parchment paper and allow them to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

Notes

For a fancier presentation, slice the bars into smaller pieces and drizzle with extra melted chocolate. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
