Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes, approximately 1 pound
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced preferably fresh
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden or metal skewers If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breasts into even, bite-sized cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper, whisking until blended.
  • Pour the marinade over the cubed chicken and coat thoroughly. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or longer in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.

Cooking

  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until evenly charred and cooked through.
  • Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.

Serving

  • Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot. Optionally brush with extra marinade before serving.

Notes

For variations, you can add vegetables to the skewers, use other proteins, or modify the marinade for different flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
