Ingredients
  

Chicken and Glaze

  • 1 piece chicken breast, sliced into strips Use high-quality, fresh chicken.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Extra virgin olive oil preferred.
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp hot sauce or chili flakes Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional) For garnish.

Salad Base

  • 3 cups mixed salad greens Any fresh salad greens will work.
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 piece cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the honey, hot sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
  • Brush the chicken strips with the glaze, making sure they are well coated.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and sticky, about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Assembly

  • On a large bowl or platter, arrange the mixed salad greens as a base.
  • Layer the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and shredded carrots on top.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, place the glazed strips directly on top of the salad.
  • Drizzle any remaining glaze over the chicken and salad. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.

Serving

  • Serve immediately while the chicken is warm and the veggies remain crispy.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes in the glaze before cooking. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
