Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets (fresh or thawed) Opt for fresh salmon for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce Adjust the amount for desired spice level.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking the salmon.

For serving

  • 1 cup Cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup Steamed broccoli
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional) Adds crunch and flavor.
  • Green onions for garnish (optional) Adds freshness and color.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine honey, Sriracha sauce, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes without moving them.
  • Flip the salmon carefully and glaze the tops with the honey Sriracha mixture.
  • Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until fully cooked and flaky.

Assembly

  • In a bowl, layer a generous amount of cooked rice.
  • Add a salmon fillet on top of the rice and a serving of steamed broccoli.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

You can use a non-stick skillet for easier flipping and check for doneness with a meat thermometer (145°F). These bowls are great for meal prep and can be stored in airtight containers for up to 2 days.
