Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 pieces eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • oil for frying

For the Hot Honey Drizzle

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce or to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare dredging stations: in one dish, combine flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika; in a second dish, beat the eggs; in a third dish, place the breadcrumbs.

Coating the Chicken

  • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken cutlets for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  • Remove the cutlets and let them drain on paper towels.

Preparing the Drizzle

  • In a small saucepan, combine honey and hot sauce. Heat over low until warm and well-combined.
  • Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the crispy chicken cutlets.

Serving

  • Slice the cutlets and serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables. Provide additional hot honey on the side.

Notes

You can marinate chicken in salt, paprika, and hot sauce for extra flavor. For a healthier option, bake instead of frying.
