  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Enhances umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds richness to the sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add sliced chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about a minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Cooking

  • Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they're crisp-tender.
  • Stir in chili paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.

Serving

  • Ladle Hunan Chicken over cooked rice.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced scallions before serving.

Notes

Chicken can be marinated for added flavor. Customize the vegetable mix based on seasonal availability or preference.
