  • 1 pound ground beef Brown in a skillet until fully cooked.

Sauce and Cheese

  • 2 cups creamy cheese (such as ricotta or cottage cheese) Can mix with shredded mozzarella for extra flavor.
  • 2 cups tomato sauce

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef while seasoning it with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until fully cooked.

Assembly

  • In a large bowl, combine the drained egg noodles, cooked ground beef, creamy cheese, and tomato sauce. Stir until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.

Baking

  • Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a fresh side salad or garlic bread. You can sprinkle extra cheese or fresh herbs like basil or parsley on top for added flavor.
