Ingredients
  

For the burgers

  • 1 pound ground turkey Choose 93% lean for best flavor and moisture.
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped parsley. Mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indent in the center of each patty.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking

  • Once preheated, place the patties in the air fryer basket with space between each one.
  • Cook the burgers for about 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • For melted cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  • Remove the burgers from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve the turkey burgers on toasted buns with fresh toppings, or over a bed of greens for a lighter option. Consider using unique bun alternatives for variety.
