Instructions
 

Cooking Orzo

  • Cook the orzo pasta according to the package instructions, usually about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add sliced chicken and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

Adding Garlic and Vegetables

  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Incorporate the mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, ensuring they soften but remain crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked orzo to the skillet, squeeze in lemon juice, and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve in bowls or on plates, optionally adding a lemon wedge on the side.
