  • 2 large large flour tortillas For the pizza base
  • 1 cup refried beans For spreading on the tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For topping
  • 1/2 cup salsa For serving
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning For flavoring the beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For drizzling over tortillas before baking
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For dipping or topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Drizzle olive oil over the flour tortillas and bake for 5 to 7 minutes until crispy.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning to the beef along with a splash of water. Stir to combine and simmer.

Assembly

  • Spread refried beans over each baked tortilla.
  • Layer with seasoned ground beef.
  • Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.

Serving

  • Remove pizzas from the oven and garnish with diced onions, olives, and chopped cilantro.
  • Serve with sour cream and salsa for dipping.

Notes

For variation, substitute ground beef with grilled chicken or vegetables. These pizzas are best served fresh from the oven for maximum crispiness.
