Preparation

  • Beat the softened cream cheese in a bowl until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or stand mixer, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until fully blended.
  • Sprinkle the ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the mixture. Mix on low speed until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  • Layer the dessert by adding crushed gingerbread cookies at the bottom of serving cups, followed by a layer of cheesecake mixture. Repeat until filled.
  • Top with chocolate shavings or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
