  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until blended.
  • In a separate bowl, mix melted coconut oil or vegan butter with brown sugar until smooth. Add maple syrup and vanilla extract and stir until well-combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently to form a slightly sticky dough.
  • Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Using a tablespoon, scoop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For better cookie shape, consider chilling the dough for about 30 minutes before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
