  • 1 can (15 oz) beans (black or kidney, drained and rinsed)
  • 2 cups macaroni pasta Substitute with gluten-free pasta if desired.
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth Can use vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Add ground beef to a large pot over medium heat and cook until no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain excess grease.

Adding Ingredients

  • Add beans and diced tomatoes to the pot with the beef.
  • Pour in beef broth, then add macaroni pasta, chili powder, and garlic powder.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then stir well.

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
  • Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until macaroni is al dente.

Finishing Touches

  • Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Serve warm in bowls.
