  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine the orange juice, orange zest, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until a cohesive glaze forms.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the orange glaze generously over each salmon fillet.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12 to 15 minutes, until it turns opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  • Garnish the salmon with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately with your choice of sides.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Adjust the glaze to your taste, and consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
