  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use high-quality chicken for best results.
  • 1 cup orange marmalade Choose a good quality orange marmalade.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low-sodium alternatives can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the orange marmalade, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and drizzle olive oil over them, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.

Cooking

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Serve with the remaining sauce drizzled on top, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes for better flavor. For added spice, include red pepper flakes to the marinade. Garnishes elevate both the presentation and flavor.
