For the Cheese Sticks

  • 1 package (12 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet with nonstick spray or olive oil.
  • Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick in a rectangular shape.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and then grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the cheese, then sprinkle garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

Baking

  • Place the cut strips on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try mixing different types of cheese or adding herbs. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, and reheat in the oven.
