Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes (such as Yukon Gold or red potatoes)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Fresh herbs for garnish (optional, such as parsley or chives)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by washing and peeling the potatoes. Cut them into uniform dice, about 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the diced potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes, and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss the potatoes well to ensure they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Once preheated, add the tossed potatoes to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness by piercing with a fork; they should be tender and golden brown.
  • When done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, let them cool completely and place them in an airtight container. They can last in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes. For longer storage, spread cooled potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag.
