  • 1 cup caramel candies Unwrap before use for easier melting.
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon butter Helps to smooth the caramel.

Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine butter and caramel candies. Melt over medium heat, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  • Once melted, stir in pretzel sticks until well coated.
  • Spread the caramel-coated pretzels evenly onto the prepared baking sheet to form a single layer.
  • Melt the chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler, then drizzle over the pretzel layer.
  • Sprinkle sea salt over the chocolate before it sets.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 1 to 2 hours.
  • Break into pieces and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. Refrigerate for longer storage but be aware it may alter the texture slightly.
