  • 2 cups pretzels You can use whole or broken pretzels.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet, dark, or milk chocolate, based on preference.
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade caramel can be used.
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt For sprinkling on top.

Preparation

  • Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the pretzels across the lined baking sheet in a single layer.

Melting and Coating

  • In a saucepan over low heat, gently melt the caramel sauce, stirring continuously until smooth.
  • Carefully pour the melted caramel over the arranged pretzels and use a spatula to coat them evenly.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until completely melted.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-coated pretzels.
  • Sprinkle the sea salt evenly over the melted chocolate while it's still warm.

Chilling and Serving

  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • Once set, break the bark into pieces and serve.

Notes

Consider adding chopped nuts or using different types of chocolate for variations. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
