Ingredients
  

Sushi Bowl Base

  • 2 cups sushi rice Rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups water

Crab Mixture

  • 8 oz crab meat Cooked and shredded
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce Adjust to taste

Toppings

  • 1 each avocado Sliced
  • 1 each cucumber Sliced
  • 2 each green onions Chopped
  • to taste soy sauce For serving
  • to taste sesame seeds For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain.
  • Combine the washed rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Let the cooked rice cool slightly.

Mix Crab Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded crab meat, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce.
  • Mix gently until the crab is well coated. Adjust sriracha to taste.

Assembly

  • Divide the warm sushi rice among bowls.
  • Top with a generous scoop of the spicy crab mixture.
  • Layer on sliced avocado and cucumber.
  • Sprinkle chopped green onions on top.
  • Drizzle with soy sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately and consider using beautiful bowls for presentation. Extra sriracha can be served on the side for those who like more heat.
