Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha Adjust for spice preference
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 1 pound Chicken (for skewers, diced or whole pieces)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, lime juice, minced garlic, and minced ginger until combined.
  • Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, ensuring a thorough coating.
  • Place seasoned chicken in the marinade, making sure all pieces are well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (ideally up to 2 hours).

Grilling

  • Preheat grill to medium-high.
  • Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  • Cook skewers on the grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking until chicken is no longer pink inside.
  • Remove from grill and let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a different flavor, try adding vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the skewers. If marinating overnight, the flavors will intensify even more.
