Ingredients
  

For the Salmon and Marinade

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) Choose high-quality, fresh salmon.
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha Adjust based on spice preference.

For the Slaw

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 pieces green onions, sliced

For the Spicy Mayo

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

For Serving

  • 2 cups cooked rice Can use white, brown, wild rice, or cauliflower rice.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and sriracha to create a marinade.
  • Coat the salmon fillets in the marinade and allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the slaw by shredding the cabbage and carrots, then mix in the sliced green onions.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the spicy mayo.

Cooking

  • Place the marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Prepare your cooked rice according to the package instructions.

Assembly

  • Assemble the bowls with a scoop of warm rice, topped with baked salmon, Asian slaw, and a drizzle of spicy mayo.

Notes

Best served warm. Add lime wedges for extra zest. Customize slaw by adding other vegetables or adjust spice levels in the mayo.
