  • 2 green onions chopped For garnish.
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds Optional, for garnish.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey Provides sweetness.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Essential for the flavor.
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes Optional, adjust for spice preference.
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch Helps the sauce adhere to the chicken.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes (if using) to create the sauce.
  • Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch to give them a delightful texture and aid in sauce adherence.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer for an additional 1–2 minutes to thicken.
  • While the chicken simmers, cook the noodles according to package directions, then drain and toss with a little oil.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Toss everything until well combined, then finish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken for extra flavor and avoid overcrowding the pan when cooking.
