Preparation

  • Combine the rolled oats, almond flour, and vanilla protein powder in a mixing bowl and stir together until well combined.
  • Add the softened cream cheese to the dry mixture and mix until fully integrated.
  • Incorporate the crushed freeze-dried strawberries, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is well combined.
  • Check the mixture's consistency and add milk one tablespoon at a time until smooth and moldable.

Forming

  • Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the rolled balls on a plate lined with parchment paper.

Chilling

  • Chill the rolled balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance firmness.

Notes

For presentation, consider garnishing with crushed freeze-dried strawberries or serving with fresh strawberries. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days or freeze them for up to 3 months.
