Ingredients

For the Salad Base

  • 3 ounces strawberry Jell-O mix
  • 1 cup hot water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

For the Fruits and Mix-ins

  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 24 ounces fresh strawberries, hulled, halved, and sliced
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by taking a large mixing bowl and adding the 3 ounces of strawberry Jell-O mix. Pour in 1 cup of hot water and stir continuously until the Jell-O is fully dissolved.
  • Next, add ½ cup of cold water to the bowl, mixing it well. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 30 minutes or until the Jell-O mixture is slightly thickened.
  • Once the Jell-O has thickened, stir in the 3.4 ounces of instant vanilla pudding mix until fully combined, then return this mix to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes.
  • Once the pudding has set, fold in the 8 ounces of whipped topping gently, being careful not to overmix.
  • Next, add the sliced fresh strawberries, drained crushed pineapple, and 10 ounces of mini marshmallows into the whipped topping mixture. Gently fold everything together.
  • Transfer the salad to a clean bowl or dish, cover it with plastic wrap or a lid, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Once well-chilled, serve the Strawberry Fluff Salad in individual bowls or onto a serving platter.

Notes

To enhance your salad, garnish each serving with a fresh strawberry or a sprinkle of mini marshmallows. It pairs well with grilled meats or can be served as a stand-alone dessert.
