Ingredients
  

For the Wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, honey, and rice vinegar. Whisk until well combined.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and coat them well in the marinade. Season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • If using an air fryer, place the wings in a single layer in the basket and cook for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • If baking, arrange wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between each. Bake for around 40-45 minutes, also flipping halfway through.

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the wings from the heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve with additional sweet chili sauce or ranch dressing.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd the cooking appliance. Consider marinating the wings for longer for enhanced flavor. Adjust spice levels with red pepper flakes or sriracha.
