Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix gently until combined.
  • Fold in the milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers are soft.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality chocolate chips. Cookies can be served warm with milk or made into ice cream sandwiches.
