  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking experience.
  • In a large pot, place your onion and garlic over medium heat. Sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the sliced carrots and celery to the pot and sauté for another 5 minutes or until they begin to soften.
  • Stir in the shredded turkey and pour in the chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Cooking

  • Once boiling, add the egg noodles and stir them in. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 6-8 minutes until al dente.
  • Reduce the heat to low and gently pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine and heat through without boiling.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and adjust the seasonings based on your preference.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers. For best results, store the noodles separately to prevent them from becoming mushy. Consider using homemade chicken broth for rich flavor.
