  • Gather all ingredients on your counter to streamline the cooking process.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, heat about a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until translucent.
  • Introduce the ground turkey, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in the cumin and chili powder, and cook for an additional minute.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes and drained white beans, then add the chicken broth. Stir well.
  • Increase the heat to bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.

Notes

Customize with toppings like shredded cheese, avocado, cilantro, or sour cream. Leftovers are great the next day as flavors deepen.
