Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it evenly into a rectangle or desired shape, aiming for a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the melted chocolate, allowing it to pool in various places.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the caramel and chocolate mixture.
  • Sprinkle sea salt over the surface to enhance flavors.

Cooling

  • Allow the Turtle Bark to cool completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for quicker cooling (about 30 minutes).

Serving

  • Once cooled and hardened, break the bark into pieces by hand or cut with a sharp knife.
